The Hospital has evolved into a multidisciplinary tertiary care centre with moderate facilities. Specific emphasis is laid on Reproductive Health detection, treatment & research in Cancer. The Hospital has 320 employees of which the clinical team comprises 30 eminent and distinguished Doctors, 25 Resident Doctors, 120 paramedical staff and 145 administrative support staff. The Hospital is today equipped with 306 beds catering to different disciplines. Of these 215 are basically free beds for the poor and needy.

The existing infrastructure of the Hospital Complex is divided into the following sections :

The Hospital has its own water supply system with separate Pumps for emergencies, separate grid for electric supply, a horticulture unit and sanitation unit to look after essential services. The Hospital has the most modern administrative set up with online interactive and modern communication facilities with necessary logistic support in areas of finance, establishment and accounting. The Hospital has its own maintenance staff under the supervision of a qualified Architect and a Civil Engineer.


Academic Programme and Recognitions

The Hospital is imparting clinical for teaching in Obstetrics and Gynaecology since 1964 to students of Motilal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad. The MBBS (undergraduate) and M.S. (postgraduate residents) students are given demonstrations on Modern Radiotherapy and diagnostic facilities available in the Hospital. The following training programmes are taken up in our Hospital :
  1. Diploma of the National Board of Examinations in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Radiotherapy
  2. Dip. G.O. in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
  3. D.Ch. in Paediatrics
  4. M.S. (Obstetrics and Gynaecology)
  5. M.B.B.S. Students on various clinical aspects in Oncology.
  6. Clinical exposure to M.S. General Surgery, ENT/Orthopaedics/ Ophthalmology and M.D. Radiology Student.
  7. Thesis work of M.D. and M.S. courses of MLN Medical College when related with Cancer.
  8. Training programme of one year for Medical Technologist for Radiotherapy and Radiology and Imaging.
  9. Training programme of Nurses in Oncology and Brachytherapy Nursing care.
  10. Basic Health Workers and Social workers for rural health and Cancer detection work (recognized by Govt of U.P.)
  11. Bhabha Atomic Research Centre / Atomic Energy Regulatory Board sponsored certificate course for Radiation Protection for Radiotherapy Technicians.
Besides the above, M.D. (postgraduate) students of neighboring Medical Colleges e.g. King George Medical College Lucknow, Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad are also exposed to the various aspects of Radiation Oncology.
