The Regional center at Kamala Nehru Memorial hospital is a pioneer cancer treatment centre in North India. Over the years, the centre has been providing comprehensive facilities for detection and treatment of this fatal disease. As one of the twelve Regional Cancer Centers in the country and the only in Uttar Pradesh, it not only treats patient from Uttar Pradesh and adjoining but also provide treatment to the cancer patient of neighboring country such as Nepal, Sikkim and Bhutan.

Equipped with the state of art infrastructure, the center has prompted the department of atomic energy to establish a centre of research in radiation, oncology, medical physics and nuclear medicine in hospital.

The Regional center of hospital is fully equipped with state of the art equipment for the treatment and quality care of cancer patients. Our hi-tech for comprehensive treatment of cancer includes Cobalt therapy units, a CT scan, two ultrasonographic unit, chemotherapy and oncosurgical facilities. We assure complete care and treatment for patient at every stage of the disease. The centre has different male and female wards for the treatment of the indoor patient.

Apart from these, the services of the centre includes cancer prevention through increasing awareness and early detection of diseases. The centre has a fully equipped mobile unit with screening and laboratory facility. This unit assists the doctors in conducting cancer awareness programme and early detection of the cancer in rural area with active community participation.
