The Regional center has been
recognized as a collaborative center of department of atomic energy. The
Hospital has been receiving technical guidance and financial assistance
for acquiring high caliber cancer treatment facilities and augmentation
of infrastructure towards establishment of Advance Centre for Research
in Radiation Oncology, Medical Physics and Nuclear Medicine from
Department of Atomic Energy since 1993. over the decades, the Center has
made significant contributions in development of composite facilities
for application of Radiation Sciences in cancer treatment. |

Affiliated to Moti Lal Nehru Medical
College, the hospital has been providing various courses for the
effective detection and treatment of the cancer to the medical students.
The clinical Trial of the Centre is based at Tata Memorial Hospital
Hospital, Mumbai. Number of clinical trials are planned for
collaborative multicentric trials on common cancers of head & neck
and cervix. The various teaching programme include :
